The LAC is a member of the following international networks concerned with law and human rights.
Southern African Legal Assistance Network (SALAN)
This is a southern African network of legal aid and legal assistance NGOs which addresses public interest issues through legal means to promote human rights in the region, and which strives to develop, promote and strengthen democracy in the region. SALAN is comprised of organisations like the LAC based in South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Tanzania.

Law Society of Namibia
The Law Society of Namibia (LSN) is a self-regulating body created in terms of the Legal Practitioners Act (1995) which serves the profession and the public by promoting justice, protecting the independence of the judiciary and upholding the Rule of Law.

The Namibian Bar constitutes a pool of expertise and specialization, available to the public and the government, as those advocates, who are members of the Society of Advocates of Namibia.
Namibian Non-Governmental Organisations Forum (NANGOF)

NANGOF has become the umbrella body of about 95 national Namibian NGOs consisting of regional and national affiliates and working in a wide range of development areas. NANGOF’s main goal is to create an environment in which the development sector can carry out its work with fewer obstacles, increased confidence and greater results at less cost.

AIDS and Rights Alliance for Southern Africa (ARASA)
ARASA is a regional partnership of non-governmental organisations working together to promote a human rights approach to HIV/AIDS in Southern Africa through capacity building and advocacy.
Law Reform and Development Commission of Namibia
The LRDC therefore has a statutory function to: repeal obsolete or unnecessary enactments, consolidate or codify any branch of law, integrate customary law with common and statutory law, develop new or more effective procedures for administration of the law and work towards the enactment of the laws to enhance respect for human rights as enshrined in the Namibian Constitution or to ensure compliance with international legal obligations.

The Legal Resources Centre is an independent, client-based, non-profit public interest law centre which uses the law as an instrument of justice.

The Sister Namibia Collective is a non-governmental and non-partisan women’s organisation established in 1989 with the aim of advocating and lobbying for gender equality and law reform, and opposing racism, sexism and other forms of bigotry.
UNIFEM Gender and AIDS Web Portal
UNIFEM, in collaboration with UNAIDS, has developed this comprehensive gender and HIV/AIDS web portal to provide up-to-date information on the gender dimensions of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The site aims to promote understanding, knowledge sharing, and action on HIV/AIDS as a gender and human rights issue.
